§ 56-596. Consideration of economic development; report.

A. In all relevant proceedings pursuant to this Act, the Commission shalltake into consideration, among other things, the goal of economic developmentin the Commonwealth.

B. By September 1 of each year, the Commission shall report to the Commissionon Electric Utility Regulation and the Governor on the status of theimplementation of this chapter and its recommendations regarding theimplementation of the provisions of this chapter. This report shall includethe Commission's recommendations for any actions by the General Assembly, theCommission, electric utilities, or any other entity that the Commissionconsiders to be in the public interest.
