§ 58.1-209. Disclosure of social security account numbers.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department may requiredisclosure of the social security account number of a taxpayer for anypurpose relating to taxes administered by the Department, includingverification of the identity of any individual. Such numbers shall beregarded as confidential tax information pursuant to the provisions of §58.1-3.
