§ 58.1-211. Department to advise Comptroller of amounts to be charged statecollecting officers.

Whenever the Department has information concerning amounts properlychargeable to any collecting or receiving officer by reason of the fact thatsuch collecting officer has been delivered an assessment of state taxes forcollection, or otherwise, the Department shall as soon as practicable advisethe Comptroller thereof so that he may make the proper entries in his books.
