§ 58.1-2278. Equipment requirements.

A. All fuel dispensed at retail shall be dispensed from metered pumps thatindicate the total amount of fuel measured through the pumps. Each pump shallbe marked to indicate the type of fuel dispensed.

B. A highway vehicle that transports fuel in a tank that is separate from thefuel supply tank of the vehicle shall not have a connection from thetransporting tank to the motor or to the supply tank of the vehicle.
