§ 58.1-2408. Cessation of rental business; amended certificate.

If the holder of a certificate ceases to conduct his business at the placedesignated in the certificate, the certificate shall automatically expire.The holder shall notify the Commissioner, in writing, within thirty daysafter he has ceased to conduct the business. If the holder of the certificatedesires to continue in the rental business in the Commonwealth but at adifferent location he shall so inform the Commissioner, in writing, at leastthirty days prior to the contemplated relocation. The Commissioner shall thenissue an amended certificate designating the new place of business. Theamended certificate shall become effective on the date that the certificatefor the previous place of business expires. There shall be no charge forobtaining an amended certificate.
