§ 58.1-2907. Use of natural gas consumption tax relating to specialregulatory tax.

The natural gas consumption tax relating to the special regulatory tax paidinto the treasury under this chapter shall be deposited into a special fundused only by the Commission for the purpose of making appraisals, assessmentsand collections against natural gas suppliers and public service corporationsfurnishing heat, light and power by means of natural gas and for the furtherpurposes of the Commission in investigating and inspecting the properties orthe services of such natural gas suppliers and public service corporations,and for the supervision and administration of all laws relative to suchnatural gas suppliers and public service corporations, whenever the sameshall be deemed necessary by the Commission.
