§ 58.1-3007. Notice prior to increase of local tax levy; hearing.

Before any local tax levy shall be increased in any county, city, town, ordistrict, such proposed increase shall be published in a newspaper havinggeneral circulation in the locality affected at least seven days before theincreased levy is made and the citizens of the locality shall be given anopportunity to appear before, and be heard by, the local governing body onthe subject of such increase.
