§ 58.1-3127.1. Treasurer to collect all amounts to be received by anydepartment or agency of political subdivision.

All amounts to be received or expended by any department or agency, ordepartment or agency head, of a political subdivision of the Commonwealth byvirtue of a federal grant, gift, or forfeiture or other disposition offederal funds shall be made payable to the treasury or treasurer of thepolitical subdivision and shall not be made payable to such department oragency, or department or agency head. Accounting and disbursement provisionsof § 58.1-3127 shall apply to such amounts.
