§ 59.1-9.11. Penalty for flagrant violations.

In any action or proceeding brought under § 59.1-9.15 (a) the court mayassess for the benefit of the Commonwealth a civil penalty of not more than$100,000 for each willful or flagrant violation of this chapter. No civilpenalty shall be imposed in connection with any violation for which any fineor penalty is imposed pursuant to federal law.
