59.1-335.11 - Statute of limitations.

§ 59.1-335.11. Statute of limitations.

An action to enforce any liability created under this chapter may be broughtwithin two years from the date on which the liability arises, except thatwhere a defendant has materially and willfully misrepresented any informationrequired under this chapter to be disclosed to a consumer and the informationso misrepresented is material to the establishment of the defendant'sliability to that consumer under this chapter, the action may be brought atany time within two years after discovery by the consumer of themisrepresentation.
