§ 6.1-363.22. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Notice of proposedsuspension or revocation.

The Commission shall not revoke or suspend the license of any person licensedunder this chapter upon any of the grounds set forth in § 6.1-363.20 until ithas given the licensee 21 days notice in writing of the reasons for theproposed revocation or suspension and an opportunity to introduce evidenceand be heard. The notice shall be sent by certified mail to the principalplace of business of the licensee or other address authorized under §12.1-19.1 and shall state with particularity the grounds for the contemplatedaction. Within 14 days of mailing the notice, the person or persons namedtherein may file with the Clerk of the Commission a written request for ahearing. If a hearing is requested, the Commission shall not suspend orrevoke the license except based upon findings made at such hearing. Thehearing shall be conducted in accordance with the Commission's Rules ofPractice and Procedure.
