§ 6.1-11.1. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Grant of special powers tobanks by the Commission.

In addition to the permissible business authorized by § 6.1-11, the StateCorporation Commission may, upon the Commission's finding that an emergencyexists, confer by order upon banks such temporary powers as the Commissionmay determine to be in the public interest and such powers as are granted maybe authorized for a limited period of time, may be granted selectively tofewer than all banks, and may be revoked by further order of the Commission.
