§ 6.1-110.1. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Definitions.

As used in this article:

"Bank" means any bank, trust company, or bank and trust company which isnow organized or may be organized hereafter under the laws of thisCommonwealth.

Except where otherwise specified, "FDIC," or "receiver," means theFederal Deposit Insurance Corporation and includes any successor to theCorporation or any other agency or instrumentality of the United States whichundertakes to discharge the purposes of the Corporation.

"Receivership court" means the court of record which appoints a receiverfor a bank pursuant to this article.
