§ 6.1-12. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Suspension of business duringactual or threatened enemy attack or other emergency.

Every bank and trust company doing business in this Commonwealth isauthorized temporarily to suspend its usual business during a period ofactual or threatened enemy attack, civil insurrection or riot, affecting thecommunity in which such institution is doing business or other emergencyjustifying temporary closing such as fire, flood or hurricane.
