§ 6.1-32.13. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Certificate required.

No person or legal entity shall engage in the trust business without firstobtaining a certificate of authority from the Commission; however, a bank orsavings and loan authorized under state or federal laws to engage in thetrust business or a trust subsidiary as defined in the Trust Subsidiary Act(§ 6.1-32.1 et seq.) of this title may engage in such business to the extentpermitted by law without obtaining a certificate under this article.
