§ 6.1-32.31. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Title and purpose.

A. This article may be cited as the "Multistate Trust Institutions Act."

B. It is the intent of this article to enable and promote the establishmentof trust offices in other states by Virginia banks, trust companies and trustsubsidiaries, and to permit out-of-state trust institutions, includingwithout limitation national banks whose home state is other than Virginia, toengage in the trust business in this state, in accordance with the provisionsset forth in this article.
