§ 6.1-194.75. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Regulations to permitstate associations to have powers comparable to federal savings institutions.

The Commission is authorized to adopt such regulations as may be necessary topermit state associations to have powers comparable with those of federalsavings institutions, regardless of any then existing statute, regulation orcourt decision limiting or denying such powers to state associations. Therequirement of a public hearing shall not automatically apply to regulationspromulgated under this section, but the Commission may have such hearing asit deems appropriate.
