§ 6.1-194.8. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Application of VirginiaStock Corporation Act and Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act.
The provisions of the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq.)shall apply to all stock savings institutions in all cases not inconsistentwith the provisions of this chapter, except the provisions of Article 15 (§13.1-729 et seq.) of Chapter 9 of Title 13.1 shall not apply. Theprovisions of the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-801 et seq.)shall apply to all mutual savings institutions in all cases not inconsistentwith the provisions of this chapter including mutual savings and loanassociations heretofore incorporated under the Virginia Stock Corporation Actor prior laws relating to stock corporations.
