§ 6.1-228. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Extent to which associationsregarded as banks.

Industrial loan associations incorporated after July 1, 1960, shall have allthe powers conferred on banks by the Virginia Banking Act (§ 6.1-3 et seq.),shall be subject to all restrictions applicable to banks, and shall for thepurposes of state supervision and control be banks.
