§ 6.1-237.3. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Investigations;examinations.

The Commission may, by its designated officers and employees, as often as itdeems necessary, investigate and examine the affairs, business, premises andrecords of any association. Examinations shall be conducted at least twice ineach three-year period. In the course of such investigations andexaminations, the owners, members, officers, directors and employees of theassociation shall, upon demand of the person making such examination orinvestigation, afford full access to all premises, books, records andinformation which the person making such examination or investigation deemsnecessary. For the foregoing purposes, the person making such examination orinvestigation shall have authority to administer oaths, examine under oathall the aforementioned persons, and compel the production of papers andobjects of all kinds.
