§ 6.1-248. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Effect of amendment ofchapter on preexisting contracts.

This chapter or any part of it may be modified, amended, or repealed so as toeffect a cancellation or alteration of any license or right of a licenseethereunder provided that the cancellation or alteration shall not impair oraffect the obligation of any preexisting lawful contract between any licenseeand any borrower.
