§ 6.1-308. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Violation of § 6.1-249.

A. Any person and the several members, officers, directors, agents, andemployees thereof, who violate or participate in the violation of anyprovision of § 6.1-249 shall be guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor.

B. Any contract of loan in the making or collection of which any act has beendone which violates § 6.1-249 shall be void and the lender shall not collect,receive, or retain any principal, interest, or charges whatsoever, and anyamount paid on account of principal or interest on any such loan shall berecoverable by the person by or for whom payment was made.
