§ 6.1-330.58. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Contracts, etc., inviolation of public policy.

Any agreement or contract in which the borrower waives the benefits of thischapter or releases any rights he may have acquired by virtue of this chaptershall be deemed to be against public policy and void. The provisions of thissection shall not apply to a waiver of benefits or release of rights madesubsequent to a loan as part of a settlement of potential or pending claimsby a borrower involving such loan.
