§ 6.1-332. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Access to jointsafety-deposit box.

When a safety-deposit box shall have been hired, or shall hereafter be hired,from any bank or trust company transacting business in this Commonwealth,under the name of two or more persons, with the right of access being givento either, or with access to either the survivor or survivors of suchpersons, any one or more of such persons, whether the other or others beliving or not shall have the right of access to such deposit vault, and mayremove therefrom the contents of such box; and in case of such removal suchbank or trust company shall be exempt from any liability for permitting suchperson access thereto.
