§ 6.2-1014. (Effective October 1, 2010) Certificate required.

No person shall engage in the trust business without first obtaining acertificate of authority from the Commission; however, a bank or savingsinstitution authorized under state or federal laws to engage in the trustbusiness or a trust subsidiary may engage in such business to the extentpermitted by law without obtaining a certificate under this article.
