6.2-1114 - (Effective October 1, 2010) Application of Virginia Stock Corporation Act and Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act.
§ 6.2-1114. (Effective October 1, 2010) Application of Virginia StockCorporation Act and Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act.
A. The provisions of the Virginia Stock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-601 et seq.)shall apply to all stock institutions in all cases not inconsistent with theprovisions of this chapter, except the provisions of Article 15 (§ 13.1-729et seq.) of Chapter 9 of Title 13.1 shall not apply.
B. The provisions of the Virginia Nonstock Corporation Act (§ 13.1-801 etseq.) shall apply to all mutual savings institutions in all cases notinconsistent with the provisions of this chapter including mutual savings andloan associations heretofore incorporated under the Virginia StockCorporation Act or prior laws relating to stock corporations.
