§ 6.2-1116. (Effective October 1, 2010) Corporation name.

A. Every association incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth shallhave as a part of its corporate name the words "building and loanassociation" or "savings and loan association." No state association shalluse the words "savings bank" as part of its corporate name.

B. Every savings bank incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth shallhave as a part of its corporate name the words "savings bank."

C. The provisions of subsection A of § 13.1-630 shall not apply to anyassociation or state savings bank.
