§ 6.2-1413. (Effective October 1, 2010) Investigations; examinations.

The Commission, as often as it deems necessary, may investigate and examinethe affairs, business, premises, and records of any association. Examinationsshall be conducted at least twice in each three-year period. In the course ofsuch investigations and examinations, the owners, officers, directors, andemployees of the association shall, upon demand of the person making suchexamination or investigation, afford full access to all premises, books,records, and information that the person making such examination orinvestigation deems necessary. For the purposes of this section, the personmaking such examination or investigation shall have authority to administeroaths, examine under oath all the aforementioned persons, and compel theproduction of papers and objects of all kinds.
