§ 6.2-2307. (Effective October 1, 2010) Disposition of contents.

When a package has been marked for identification by a notary public asrequired under the provisions of § 6.2-2306, it shall, in the presence of anofficer of the company, be placed by the notary public in one of the generalsafes or boxes of the company. The lessee shall be liable to the company forstorage of the package at a rental rate that does not exceed the originalrental of the box that was opened. The package shall remain in such generalsafe or box for a period of not less than two years, unless sooner removed bythe lessee.
