§ 6.2-712. (Effective October 1, 2010) A savings institution holding companyseeking to acquire a bank or bank holding company deemed a bank holdingcompany.

For purposes of this chapter, any savings institution holding company seekingto acquire a bank or bank holding company, shall be deemed to be a bankholding company, for purposes of determining whether such savings institutionholding company is permitted to acquire the bank or bank holding company inquestion.
