§ 6.2-839. (Effective October 1, 2010) Interstate branching through theacquisition of a branch.

An out-of-state bank that does not already maintain a branch in theCommonwealth and that meets the requirements of this article may establishand maintain a branch in the Commonwealth through the acquisition of a branch.
