§ 62.1-218. Grants to local governments.

The Authority shall have the power and authority, with any funds of theAuthority available for this purpose, to make grants to local governments. Indetermining which local governments are to receive grants, the Department ofEnvironmental Quality, the Department of Health, and the Virginia WasteManagement Board shall assist the Authority in determining needs forwastewater treatment facilities, water supply facilities, solid wastetreatment, disposal or management facilities, or recycling facilities, andthe method and form of such grants.
