§ 62.1-253. Riparian rights.

Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as altering, or authorizing anyalteration of, any existing riparian rights except as set forth in permitsissued pursuant to this chapter. The conditions in such permits shall be inforce only in those times when low stream flows, or the potential therefor,result in a declaration as provided for in subsection A of § 62.1-249.
