§ 62.1-64. Authority to execute compact to create Potomac Valley ConservancyDistrict and Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin.

The Governor is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of theCommonwealth of Virginia, a compact with the states of Maryland and WestVirginia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, orwith such of the same as shall, by their respective legislative bodies, enactlegislation with like provisions to those of this chapter, but not with suchof the same as shall not so enact such legislation, which compact shall be inform substantially as set out in § 62.1-65.
