§ 62.1-72. Effect of signing compact.

The Commonwealth of Virginia, hereby through the signature of its Governorhereto, adds its name to those of the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky,New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia as the parties toand signatory states of the foregoing Ohio River Valley Water SanitationCompact, and hereby covenants and agrees as hereinabove set forth in suchcompact.

The signature by the Governor of Virginia, to the foregoing compact on behalfof the Commonwealth of Virginia, shall bind the Commonwealth and indicate itsassent to and acceptance of the terms and conditions of such compact.
