§ 62.1-79. Appropriations.

The sums appropriated to carry out the purposes of this chapter shall be usedto effect its provisions and to pay Virginia's proportionate part of thebudget of the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission in accordancewith Article X of the compact. No part of any such appropriation shall beavailable for expenditure in whole or in part unless and until theComptroller shall be annually satisfied that each of the governmentalentities having representatives on the Ohio River Valley Water SanitationCommission has provided for the expenses thereof at least as much as isappropriated by the General Assembly of Virginia for the purposes of thischapter.
