§ 62.1-113. Use of bed of watercourse.

The Commonwealth hereby gives its consent to the use of the bed of anywatercourse to which it has title for the construction of any impoundingstructure under the provisions of this chapter. No right to construct animpounding structure resting upon the bed of any other watercourse shall lieunless the owner or owners seeking to construct the same has title to the bedof such watercourse.
