§ 63.2-1614. Authority to receive and grant funds.

Subject to regulations of the Board and to the availability of state orfederal funds for services to the victims of domestic violence, theDepartment is authorized to:

1. Receive state and federal funds for services to the victims of domesticviolence;

2. Disperse funds through matching grants to local, public or privatenonprofit agencies to provide service programs for the victims of domesticviolence; and

3. Develop and implement grant mechanisms for funding such local services.
