§ 63.2-222. Establishment of system.

There shall be created a statewide human services information and referralsystem designed to:

1. Collect and maintain accurate and complete resource data on a statewidebasis;

2. Link citizens needing human services with appropriate community resourcesto satisfy those needs;

3. Assist in planning for human services delivery at the local, regional andstate levels; and

4. Provide information to assist decision-makers in allocating financial andother resources to respond to state and local human service priorities.
