§ 63.2-310. Compensation and expenses.
Each member of the local board of a county or a city or of a district shallbe paid his reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in attendance atmeetings and while otherwise engaged in the discharge of his duties. Inaddition to such expenses, the governing body of each city or county may, outof its general fund, pay to each member of the local board, as compensationfor his services, an amount to be fixed by the governing body of such city orcounty. No such county or city shall be reimbursed out of either state orfederal funds for any part of such compensation paid.
