§ 63.2-312. Meetings; organization; chairman and vice-chairman; secretary.

The governing body or bodies shall immediately notify the members of thelocal board of their appointment, and such members shall, within fifteen daysafter their notification, elect a chairman and vice-chairman from among theirnumber. The local board shall meet at least bimonthly and on other occasionson call of the chairman or in pursuance of action by the local board. Atleast one such meeting a year shall be an orientation and training sessionfor local board members. The local director shall act as secretary of hislocal board and shall keep on file minutes of the attendance and transactionsat all meetings of the local board.
