§ 63.2-512. Recovery of public assistance erroneously paid.

Any assistance or part thereof erroneously paid to a recipient or formerrecipient may be recovered by the Board or local board from the recipient orformer recipient as a debt. In accordance with Board regulations, the amounterroneously paid may also be recovered from the income, assets or otherproperty of the recipient or former recipient or from the public assistancepayable to the recipient.
