§ 64.1-141. Duties of fiduciaries with respect to certain obligations of theUnited States.

Personal representatives and other fiduciaries shall be under no obligationunless requested in writing by someone in interest to assert claim to or seekto recover the whole or any part of funds arising from the redemption orpayment of bonds of the United States of America, which are paid or payableto others under applicable laws of the United States or rules and regulationsof the Treasury Department of the United States made pursuant thereto.
