§ 65.2-809. Constructive notice to, jurisdiction of, and awards, etc.,binding upon insurer.

All policies insuring the payment of compensation under this title mustcontain clauses to the effect (i) that as between the employer and theinsurer notice to or knowledge of the occurrence of the injury on the part ofthe insured employer shall be deemed notice or knowledge on the part of theinsurer, (ii) that jurisdiction of the insured for the purposes of this titleshall be jurisdiction of the insurer, and (iii) that the insurer shall in allthings be bound by and subject to the awards, judgments or decrees renderedagainst such insured employer.
