§ 8.01-465.7. Definitions.

As used in this chapter:

"Foreign country" means any governmental unit other than the United Statesor any state, district, commonwealth, territory, or insular possessionthereof;

"Foreign country money judgment" means any judgment of a foreign countrygranting or denying recovery of a sum of money, other than a judgment fortaxes, a fine or other penalty, or a judgment for support in matrimonial orfamily matters.
