§ 8.01-220.1. Defense of interspousal immunity abolished as to certain causesof action arising on or after July 1, 1981.
The common-law defense of interspousal immunity in tort is abolished andshall not constitute a valid defense to any such cause of action arising onor after July 1, 1981.
