§ 8.01-44.7. Action for tampering with metering device and diverting service.

Any provider of services that have been tampered with or diverted inviolation of § 18.2-163 may seek both injunctive and equitable relief, and anaward of damages, including reasonable attorney fees and costs. In additionto any other remedy provided by law, the party aggrieved may recover an awardof actual damages or $500 whichever is greater for each action.
