§ 8.01-77. What proceeds of sale to pass as real estate.

The proceeds received under the preceding provisions of this article or underArticle 9 (§ 8.01-81 et seq.) of this chapter, from the sale or division ofreal estate of a person under a disability or so much thereof as may remainat such person's death, if such person continue until death incapable fromany cause of making a will, shall pass to those who would have been entitledto the land if it had not been sold or divided.
