§ 8.01-321. Orders of publication in proceedings to enforce liens for taxesassessed upon real estate.

Whenever an order of publication is entered in any proceeding brought by anycounty, city or town to enforce a lien for taxes assessed upon real estate,such order need not be published more than once a week for two successiveweeks. The party served by publication shall be required to appear andprotect his interest by the date stated in the order of publication whichshall be not less than twenty-four days after entry of such order. Thepublication shall in other respects conform to § 8.01-317, and when suchpublication so conforms, the provisions of § 8.01-318 shall apply.
