49.86.080 - Erroneous payments -- Payments induced by willful misrepresentation -- Claim rejected after payments.

Erroneous payments — Payments induced by willful misrepresentation — Claim rejected after payments.

If family leave insurance benefits are paid erroneously or as a result of willful misrepresentation, or if a claim for family leave benefits is rejected after benefits are paid, RCW 51.32.240 shall apply, except that appeals are governed by RCW 49.86.120, penalties are paid into the family leave insurance account, and the department shall seek repayment of benefits from the recipient.
